2025 Scholarship Winner Announced

Steriline Racing alongside ARMA is delighted to announce that Hawkesbury Racecourse Manager, Digby Nuthall, has been awarded the 2025 Scholarship to the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
During the 2025 Australian Racecourse Managers Association (ARMA) Conference awards evening, John Fargher and Judy Graetz from Steriline Racing were proud to announce the award to Digby Nuthall.

Having applied in previous years, Digby’s success this year is a testament to his professional growth and achievements. His journey in the industry is impressive, from completing his apprenticeship in Perth, to being promoted to supervisor, and progressing directly into the role of Assistant Racecourse Manager at Newcastle, to his current leadership position at Hawkesbury Race Club. The judging panel commended Digby’s extensive experience, proven leadership capabilities and the advancements he has achieved throughout his career.

The judges were particularly impressed by the energy and enthusiasm that came through in his application, noting not only his passion for the industry but also his proactive mindset and commitment to growth. What stood out most was his clear vision for how this international experience could be leveraged to bring back valuable insights, innovative practices and fresh perspectives. He expressed a strong desire to share this knowledge with colleagues at Hawkesbury Race Club and to contribute to the advancement of the wider racing industry, ensuring that the benefits of this opportunity extend well beyond his own professional development.
