Royal Oman Police visit South Australia

Steriline Racing was privileged to welcome the Royal Oman Police to South Australia. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to highlight South Australia’s capabilities and showcase our city and state to this distinguished delegation.
The tour commenced on Friday 19th June, at Steriline Racing’s manufacturing facility located in the Adelaide Hills.
Friday also included a visit to Morphettville racecourse. This allowed for the Royal Oman Police to inspect the latest Steriline Racing’s Platinum Model Starting Gate.
Saturday’s tour started at Racing SA’s Apprentice Academy located in Somerton Park; this state-of-the-art facility opened in late 2024 and features a professional gym with mechanical horses and delivers a high-performance program to apprentice Jockeys.
The Royal Oman Police delegation and the Steriline Racing team attended a race day at Morphettville to observe the Steriline Racing Starting Gate in operation and also tour the steward’s room and judging box facilities.
Sunday included a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park, home of South Australia’s most iconic inhabitants.
On Monday the delegation visited Fine-tech Electronic Solutions who research, develop and manufacture electronic products in South Australia, including Steriline Racing’s Starting Gate Control Box.
Next was a tour of the South Australia Police Mounted Operations Unit, which formally inaugurated their purpose-built complex in Gepps Cross earlier this year.
The visit from the Royal Oman Police concluded with dinner at South Australia’s premier sports stadium, Adelaide Oval.
