"Following our investigation, the Steriline product emerged as the clear preference; based on the design, quality, user friendliness, value for money and maintenance support.

We installed the first set of boxes in mid-2004 at Angle Park and then later in the year at Gawler. In total we have five sets installed at the two tracks.

The decision has certainly been one of the best that GRSA has made in my three years as Operations Manager. The new boxes have proved to be very reliable and have been well received by greyhound trainers. The design and standard of workmanship is of high quality.

They are a different style to what has been used previously in South Australia, in that they are driven by compressed air, not hydraulics or springs. We have found that this has made them easier for the user to operate. They have also enabled us to improve our OHW & S standards, by enabling us to close the boxes automatically."

“During the last two racing seasons we have conducted International Racing Carnivals which have seen nearly 300 horses from 24 countries compete at Nad al Sheba racecourse. We have not had one complaint or negative comment registered by any of the connections of those horses related to the Steriline starting stalls which are solely in use.”

"I write to verify that Steriline Starting Stalls are used exclusively by our major Metropolitan Race Club, the South Australian Jockey Club, which conducts race meetings at three racecourses in Adelaide.

In each Racing Season the Club conducts approximately 60 meetings comprising approximately 490 races with approximately 6,000 starters.

In the past fifteen years there has never been an incident at the start which could be attributed to this product."

Yours faithfully,

"Our high success rate with retraining racehorses with starting gate problems can be attributed to our returning to the early basics in training. Therefore it is clear that correct early training is the key to avoiding starting gate and all other behaviour problems. Using Steriline Racing style training gates has dramatically assisted our training and retraining operation with these racehorses."
