Moonee Valley, in Melbourne, Victoria, is a picturesque racetrack 2000m in circumference.
With the club holding races on 29 days each year, the track’s running rails need too moved very frequently throughout the year. And as such, it was decided that a more rapidly moving solution was required. Steriline Racing was accordingly commissioned to develop a rail that could be moved in sections and be quickly and easily locked into position at the required track location.
An added requirement was to ensure that the rails would be capable of withstanding the strong winds sometimes experienced at Moonee Valley.
