As part of the multi-million dollar redevelopment of Adelaide’s only metropolitan racecourse, Allan Scott Park Morphettville, Steriline Racing Pty has installed an impressive range of new racetrack equipment.

Steriline Racing worked closely with the South Australian Jockey Club to design and manufacture a new range of equipment, including the retractable winning post, to help create South Australia's premier thoroughbred horse racing venue.

With two tracks operating at Morphettville Racecourse, the South Australian Jockey Club wanted to be able to provide their on and offcourse patrons an unintterupted view of the racing action.

Steriline Racing was approached to provide a unique custom designed product that would add to the aesthetics of the course, whilst maintaining the culture and atmosphere of the surroundings.

The original winning post was removed and a 'fold down' technology winning post errected. The ground breaking technology provides race clubs with opportunities to utilise numerous tracks, whilst maintaining the integrity of the photo finish system.

The design of the winning post also facilitates the use of digital advertising screens, providing the race club with opportunities to maximise advertising revenue.
