Steriline Racing is the world’s leading manufacturer of starting gates and running rail for the horse racing industry.
The company was founded in the farming community near Murray Bridge in South Australia.
Steriline developed the first moveable barriers for the Murray Bridge Race Club in the 1950's.
As a result of this business success, manufacturing commenced on a range of farm and irrigation equipment, and also equipment for the horse racing industry. In 1992 the company changed hands and moved from Murray Bridge to Mount Barker. The company commenced manufacturing on 2 April 1992 at the current premises at 38 Oborn Road, Mount Barker.

Since 1992, Steriline Racing has grown to become the world’s leading manufacturer of starting gates and running rail for the horse racing industry. Steriline Racing is a specialist in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of starting gates and running rail, and has exported racetrack equipment to over forty countries around the world, including the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
As a company, we are very proud of the strong business relationships we have developed globally, and we continue to develop products and services to meet client requirements.
